Society for Conservation Biology 2009 Annual Meeting

The Chinese Academy of Sciences, State Forestry Adminstration P.R.China and the Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) invite you to Beijing, China 11-16 July 2009 for the International Congress for Conservation Biology (23rd Annual Meeting of the Society for Conservation Biology), it is recognized as the most important global meeting for conservation professionals and students.

Format

We will need a wide variety of conservation stories. We are searching for stories on:
- conservation science and practices, wild life, biological diversity and habitat conservation
- how to integrate conservation research into policy
- indigenous communities and conservation
- real-world social and economic solutions to preserve biodiversity
- to name but a few.

All conservation materials can be received in the form of a text narrating the conservation story, pictures with captions, posters or films. The theme of the meeting is: "conservation, harmony for nature and society" and the chapter will work on linking the meeting and the exhibit under this common theme. Documents easily understood by those not familiar with conservation science are welcome.
